Blaßgelbes Pils mit verhaltenem Aroma nach Hopfen. Im Geschmack dann zum Glück auch Malz, dass die Herbe des Hopfenextrakts abpuffert. Der Abgang ist dann alles andere als feinherb, eher grobschlächtig bitter. Das Etikett ist objektiv mies; für Dortmunder aber schon kultverdächtig, wenn man das Gelände der ehemaligen DUB vom Hauptbahnhof aus betrachtet. Not bad.

Bottle, 500 ml at home. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. I got it in Germany with a bunch of others, so I don’t remember what I paid but label looks cheap and generic. ABV 4,8%
Nice golden yellow colour on the body, good activity in it and something less than two fingers of white head, soapy and thick. Good retention, nice heavy lacing on the glass.
Aroma of hay, dirty malts. Not much going on in there.
Taste begins with hay and grass notes, but on the aftertaste it gets a nice bitterness that makes you forget the slighty off flavours and it is actually quite pleasant.
Medium body, good carbonation, nice dry feeling on the palate.
Overall, not that bad, but pretty generic.

Golden colour with good head. Aroma of citrus fruits and fresh green herbs. Taste is really nice and the beer is very refreshing and easy to drink. Taste of mild citrus fruits, leaves and roasted hops.

Winner of the day. Starting with a bit citrus and malt - ending with malt and some different grains. A bit bitter but very refreshing. Great beer made with love and wisdom. Just a classic.

Pale golden, lacing low head. Light aroma. Grassy dry metalic hop as primary flavour, light body. Grassy quick finish.

From bigbox in Twist. Light blonde, small white head, dense. Fine bubbles. Aroma is slightly grassy, fresh, with some lemon and hops. Taste is slightly bitter, fresh, pilsnerlike but somewhat drier.and Not sweet at all

50cl bottle pours clear gold with thin white head. The mild aroma is sweet with sugar malts and then picking up faint notes of noble hops and just a sense of grainy maltiness. The taste starts with a pleasing spicy bitterness that’s soon joined by a mild amount of floral hops. Thankfully the spicy hops persist and provide a nice level of bitterness and do a good job keeping the modest level of sweet malts in check. Overall a spicy hop forward Pils.
