Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Very average lager. Nothing special here. Not much flavor, but also not absent of flavor. Full bodied feeling but also very drinkable because of no bitterness and no strong flavor. In one word, average.

On draft. Poured w/ no head. Clear amber, initial bite on the tongue, not much flavor. A bit better than BudMilCoo, but not by much

Brown beer with an average top and corny aroma. Active malt flavor with a twinge of citrus overbite. Although this doesn't fit the bill of a 'great' beer, I still prefer this over most US or piss-clear Mexican macros.

Drinkable with my Mexican restaurant meal, but not much of a substitute for the Negra Modelo they had run out of.

Nothing terribly interesting here. Pleasant bread flavor that sits low on the front of the tongue, completely separated from the only minimal bitterness at the back corners. Otherwise, unremarkable.

Pours from the bottle a dark amber, with a pretty large light tan head that quickly diminished to leave a minimal lacing. Aroma was quite light, mostly sweet (corn?), with some toasted smell hinting in the back. Flavor is almost purely sweet, like corn and caramel mixed, again there was some toasty malt flavors hinting at the end. Quite watery and overly carbonated.

Bottle. A dark amber color with a laced tan head. A toasted malt aroma. Very thin in flavor and on the palate, but has a sufficient malt aftertaste. Better than expected.

Not bad beer. It has a Watered down hoppy taste with a dry finish. Its head was almost non-exsitant after pouring

A good mexican beer (not saying a whole lot.) Bit of a malty/roasty flavor, goes well with Mexican food, probably not worth what it usually costs in the store.

this is great for a mexican beer, but there are much better beers out there. not bad color looks like an amber should, but almost no hop flavor and a weak malt flavor. great for cinco de mayo, but any other time of the year i'll find something else
