COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Was drinking this stuff like water when I was in Mexico. If I wasn’t cocked the entire time I probably wouldn’t have liked it.

I enjoy this amber, like i do the other Dos Equis, while sitting in the sun. Doesn’t seem to taste as good in the winter for some reason. Seems to be a bit more bitter than the normal, but equally flavorful.

I am not a mexican beer fan. Afterall, it must come from mexican water, right? Completely surprised, with rock salt and lime this beer is almost addicting.

Reminds me very much of Bud, although its flavor is a little better. Very similar to Tecate.

One of the better mexican beers. Granted, that is not saying much. Anyway, it had a decent malt flavor to it but nothing else really stuck with me (especially not the chimichangas).

Not bad for a Mexican beer.

Light, gainy nose. Smooth, albeit with an ever so slight metallic undertone. Malty sweet background throughout, particularly in the finish. Ends with a hoppy trail reminiscent of Budweiser, which I favor. The neutrality of Newcastle Brown. Solid Mexican beer that is usually found fresh in the LA, CA region.

Bitter taste, like most amber beers. I don’t like them at all.
