COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

The bottle smelled as if it had been featured in a porn film!!! the taste was ok...I was thirsty though...the second beer fell off drastically...this stuff is made to get drunk and to watch a donkey show....definitely a donkey show beer.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2007 On tap: Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head, sweet malts and grains in the aroma, medium bodied with solid carbonation, starts and ends lightly sweet. Your best bet in some restaurants. The bottle tastes very close to the tap version.

It’s been a while since I had one. It beats out Corona anyday.

Don’t know why I don’t buy the ’Two Exes’ more often. As Davhgbrew noted it’s easy to drink beer like water, but Tecate is a better call for that purpose. Good strong flavor, heavier than most macros.

Was drinking this stuff like water when I was in Mexico. If I wasn’t cocked the entire time I probably wouldn’t have liked it.

I enjoy this amber, like i do the other Dos Equis, while sitting in the sun. Doesn’t seem to taste as good in the winter for some reason. Seems to be a bit more bitter than the normal, but equally flavorful.

I am not a mexican beer fan. Afterall, it must come from mexican water, right? Completely surprised, with rock salt and lime this beer is almost addicting.
