COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2003 Draft. Yet another beer that survives on unique name only. Basically average across the board, therefore making it overpriced. All you can really say is that at least it LOOKS like it's a lot more than it is: nice reddish brown, and actual head that manages to stick around for a little while. Otherwise... Aroma: nondescript. Flavor: undistinguishable macrobrew. Palate: see above. Overall: why bother.

a little sour to the palate, pungent finish, drank it free at a party so no harm done

Nice mexican stuff. A bit lighter than Negra Modelo and not as crisp as Pacifico. The only think I wonder about is: what is a Vienna style lager (as it says on the label)?
