COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is of malt, caramel and not much else. Watery and sweet but with a slightly bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Simple but okay tasty beer for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PapaVillum (511) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2014
355 ml, flaske, 4,7 % ABV, købt i Netto i Valby, 31. oktober 2014. Rolig i glasset. Ingen surhed. Flad i indtrykket.

355 ml. bottle. Clear, amber colour with a golden tint. Creamy, off-white head. Sweet aroma with light caramel malts, grains and cardboard. Taste is light sweet. Light to medium body with an average carbonation. Short, slightly dry finish with grains and faint caramel malts. Not much drama in this one.

Heavy clear bronze like brown with a foamy head that is light tan. Mild malt aroma that is pleasant. Nice smooth malt taste with a caramel background. Hint of bitterness in the background with mostly clean wet finish. I don’t always drink Dos Equis but if I did it would be this one. A respectable beer.

"maybe it’s "rich and full bodied" for a mexican lager, but not for real beer. it can be refreshing when it’s hot, and it’s not bearly as bad as american macro crap, but that’s about where the compliments stop."
