Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Not bad at a mexican restaurant but overall lacking in flavor. Actually better with lime.

On tap in Don Sirloin, Playa del Carmen. Amazed not previously reviewed, must have been an oversight! Much cleaner and less skunky than bottles I have had previously, clean and easy drinking with a pleasant caramelly flavour. I wouldn’t have given the bottles previously tried in the States this score, but it wasn’t bad on home ground.

Draught at Cancun AirPort Amber with à small head. Sweetish aroma and flavour with Brown sugar and some toffee. Liw bitterness. Bland.

Para ser una lager es curiosa ya que siempre que la bebo noto cierto toque a miel que no sé si está conseguido, es casualidad o sólo me sabe así a mí. pero es bebible sin más.

Pours darker with a white head and has a slightly meltier taste. Some caramel and a dash of metal. Taste is overall malty but nothing you haven’t seen before. Nothing special. Also it’s kinda hard to find.

Pours a copper-amber from a tap. Really not much going on, thought there would be more malt-forward characteristics but rather insipid and bland. I suppose nothing horrendous, just rather a nonentity.

A sweet malt aroma with a hint of metal. Pours a clear Amber color with a lasting white head. Moderate carbonation, light body with a sweet malt taste and a watery finish. Tastes like Dos Equis except Amber.

One of the better Mexican beers. This one doesn’t have that skunked flavor or smell to it. Came from a "Beers of Mexico" sampler pack.

Dos XX is without a doubt a superb brew when enjoyed on a hot summer day with my feet in the sand. Best served ice cold and lots of them.
