Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

On draught at Oba! Amber color. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste is also malty, with caramel and grass notes. Fairly light-bodied, with a sweeter finish than I expected.

Got a twelve pack for $11 on sale at CVS. Pours light amber with a thin white head that leaves slight lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, grain, and grass...smells like a cheap, watery macro. Taste is mostly sweet and watery with a minimal sour note, slightly metallic. Very generic tasting and inferior compared to the world class beers that I’ve been drinking lately. It’s a cheap lawnmower beer, tastes as good out of the bottle as from a glass.

The beer is a clear copper color with a medium off-white head, and the aroma blends corn, caramel malts, with a strong lager yeast scent. The taste is slightly sour but mostly lacking, and the palate combines a thin texture, medium-light body, soft carbonation, and a slightly sour finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig süß, leicht wässrig, leicht Karamell.

Bottle visiting family. Pours an orange brown with a white head. Aroma has sweet malts and yeast, with earthiness. Taste is of bread yeast, little fruit and malts. Finishes quickly. Blah.

A nice, whiskey-like color, looking beer with a slightly brown layer of foam. A slightly hop like aroma with a subtile touch of alcohol. Nice full malty taste which moves on into a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Een mooi whiskey-kleurig bier met een lichtbruine kraag. Een licht happig aroma met een subtiele touch van alcohol. Lekkere moutige smaak en laat een iets bittere nasmaak achter.
