Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

From a bottle. Pours a clear brown, tiny white head, a bit overly carbonated and thin for me, malty backbone is nice, not as bad as I’d expected.

Decent quality over some macros. Better than Corona. Pairs with lime well in fact I won't drink it without lime to add a little flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2014 A watery, close to flavorless amber more reminiscent of a pale lager than anything else. Fairly clean and highly refreshing.

Okay let’s all admit we tried this because of the "Most Interesting Man In the World" commercials back in the day. That being said, this actually isn’t awful. Just your standard amber ale, some sweet malt flavors and not much else going on.

Tasty, easy to drink beer. Better then it’s Mexican counterpart Corona. Certainly above average, a crowd pleaser.

It poured copper from the tap aboard the Carnival Liberty. The head quickly disappeared with next to no lacing. It had hints of caramel in the taste. Otherwise, it was unremarkable.

Bottle @ Greg’s dump, pregaming Trailhead Tuesday. Pours a clear copper appearance with an off white head. Slight metal, caramel, sweet corn aroma with a bit of apple. Kind of thin body. Chewy papery flavor with some slight toast, white fruits, and caramel. I don’t think it was old, just had a weirdly papery quality to the malts. Not as good as the other Dos Equis. Could use a fucken lime.

The body has a dark golden honey color with very good clarity and lots of carbonation rushing to the surface. On the top sits a soft foamy white head that fades quickly. Lacing is minimal and slick. Its aroma has a light character with hints of grainy malt sweetness and mild grassy/leafy hops. The flavor has a thin, mild sweetness overall. There are hints of sweet grainy malt, husk and toasted biscuits. Hop flavor is very mild and it offers very little bitterness for balance. It finishes fairly quick, crisp and clean. The palate has a smooth easy drinking texture with just enough carbonation and a medium body.

12 FL OZ (12 pack $9.99) better of the beers that this company makes but still far from what i expect from a good beer.

Bottle at a Mexican restaurant. Amber color with half a finger of head. Aroma is lightly malty and taste is the same. Better than most mass produced beers I’ve tried.
