Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

keg, (after Tough Mudder), amber pour with a white head, smooth, slight caramel taste, kind of watery, not much too it, better than the lager version.

An easy drinking but boring beer. Pours a very nice clear amber with a thick white head. Not much of any smell, bit of wheat. Taste is light, with a slight amount of roastiness. Not the most interesting though.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2014 I’m only rating this because I have a completionist’s mindset. "I must rate every beer I have since getting this app." It’s Dos Equis with brown food coloring and still with a lime. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reddish amber with off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Caramel and malt nose. Malty sweetness with a slight citrus presence. Light bodied and well-carbonated. Decent Mexican beer--finally!

Drank from bottle. Smells malts and not much more. Tastes raisins, malts and watery. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Not very flavorful, but then, at many Mexican Restaurants, this is the best they may have. It’s fairly dry, some caramel malt flavor, nearly no hop bitterness, flavor or aroma. Needs lime to get it to be passable. It’s OK, but then, I’m a hop head.

Bottle at Hacienda restaurant Toronto. Amber coloured. I preferred to the lager. Has a maltier taste with a more complex taste. But not very complex, a drinkable but very average beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is superior to the pale Dos Equis XX. The aroma is thin and all malt. The appearance is attractive, almost red with an adequate vanilla head. The taste is light, malty, and finishes sweet. It is a sessionable beer and good with most any food.
