COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

A good mexican beer (not saying a whole lot.) Bit of a malty/roasty flavor, goes well with Mexican food, probably not worth what it usually costs in the store.

Good taste, body and aroma, not very often seen in the mass produced beers for the Mexican market

Bottle, rated from backlog. Amber with off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee and grain. Flavor follows, more toffee, grain, caramel and malt.

Overall one of the more well-rounded Mexican imports out there. High drinkability, very crisp, clean and refreshing.

Not the most interesting beer in the world (commercial pun intended), but very tasty and refreshing. Aroma is good except for a noticeable corny smell. Corn doesn't seem to come through in the taste which is a nice malty flavor with a bitter finish. Bitter finish is almost as light as a pilsner despite the dark color, which is a tin amber color. A good standard beer both on draft and bottled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Golden pour with a decent malty caramel aroma. Havent had the regular dos equis in a while so its hard to compare to the amber. Good drinkability with clean taste.

This is much better than regular dos equis because it actually has a little bit of flavor, still not the best though

Bottle. Doesn’t look too bad in the glass, and there is a faint appetising nose of caramel malt. But the flavour is bland and short-lived. Nice try, but I’ll go Vienna next time.

A Vienna (Austria) Lager out of Mexico sold in the United States. I drank 5 different Pale Ales before I had this, but the taste seems pleasant enough.

On tap at Monterrey. Reddish amber with little head. Subdued aroma - a little sweet malt. Some caramel in the taste. Fairly smooth beer, but nothing really exciting. OK with some chips, salsa and tacos.

330 ml bottle. BB 27/01/14. At the Mexican restaurant. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Mild sugary sweet malty aroma. Not bad actual. The flavour is caramel malty with mild hoppiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
