Clear brownish amber pour with a 1 finger beige head. Aroma is composting grass, toast, rubber and malty sweetness. Flavor is toast, sour apple, rubber and grassy sweetness. Light body, a little oily initially, medium carbonation and dry, with a sort of metallic feel to the finish. Lots of off notes, not really much going for it.

A good drinking beer for any occasion. Enjoy it as a stand alone drink or with a meal. It goes down smooth and easy and more flavorful for a typical mas produced American beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Barely there caramel and biscuit scents, taste is a burned out and watered down caramel thing. A slightly lingering salty and bitter after taste is nice

Originally rated on 9/21/08. I thought i would prefer this one over the regular dos XX but this one wasnt very good. Aroma and flavor of old grain. Mouthfeel was a little thin. The body was a dark amber with a thin head that quickly disappated, no lace left on the glass. I probably wont try it again

Dark amber pour with large off white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, grains and faint hops. Taste of caramel malts, grains, corn and faint hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, nicely balanced. Low on taste and character but goes down good on a hot day.

Nice amber color with an off-white head. Mild caramel malty nose. Typical caramel malty and light hoppy flavor. Still quite fresh and easy drinkable.

I had it with nachos at a bar in New England. It was probably about as authentically Mexican as that bar, but it still did the trick. Better malt flavor than most lagers, and it didn’t really have too much of the skunk / sulfur flavor that sinks a lot of the macros.

Bbq beer. Does the job. A little bit more malt kick than most macro stuff. A bit skunk.
