Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Original review posted 10/18/2008... Pours a rusty, amber bourbon color that looks very thin and clammy. No head to speak of. Slight tone of amber malt but that’s it. Not bad but not much of anything. Relatively clean and sparse amber malt. Slight ginger/sarsparilla feel. Not powerful but enjoyable enough, especially with appropriately spiced food. Crisp on the palate aided by carbonation tingle.Slight pine to the hop pucker. Finish is clean of aftertaste. This one’s a nice spot start. Not one for the regular rotation but when the matchups are good it’ll eat up some innings.

Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. Aroma- Smells of corn and maybe some grain and malt, stronger than Coors Light less than Heineken. Appearance- The beer is a dark amber with a small white head. Taste- Has a nice mild flavor, it definitely a micro, but it does have character. Palate- a medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Has a dry finish and minimal aftertaste. Overall- A pretty good beer, I definitely choose this when I am eating Mexican food

A hint of lagers goodness with malts and a slight amount of hops. Pretty standard fare yet better than most mass market lagers. Body even has a slight chewy note to it. Finish kills it with that thin metallic tinge. Decent.

Hardly any aroma, thin head, high on carbonation, tad sweet. Not my beer, but I like the label.

Copenhagen 8/11 2014. 33 cl bottle from Netto. Pours clear amber with white head which subsides fairly fast. A little toffee or caramel in the aroma. Medium carbonation. Taste is a little sweet with notes of caramel. Not much aftertaste. Pretty interesting for an mexican beer - which is not saying much.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark amber with an off-white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are caramel, malt, and dried fruit - with a slightly dry finish.

Poured from a bottle with a slice of lime. Small head, terrific reddish clear appearance. No noticeable aroma, caramel notes, the lime is required.

Common one. Not special. Appearance is good. There is almost no aroma. Taste last long in mouth and it feels good. That’s it.
