COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Pours amber and clear with a small white head. Nose is sweet sugary candy nose, no bitter hop notes to be had. Flavor is Completely sweet with a tinge of bitter but it’s offputting, not good at all. Mouthfeel is dull, no aftertaste and a light body. Bleh.

Draft. Thin brown ale. Nice hop flavor throughout but still reads so thin as to be inconsequential. Some hop bite but not much. Pleasant enough but ... well boring.

TATE (135) - Lubec, Maine, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Pours a nice brown color with a thin white head. Aroma is of molasses. Tastes starts a little nutty with just a hint of hop bitterness at the end. May have been a little better with more hop aroma and flavor. Its pretty light. This is a nice lager on a hot day with a little more character than the regular Dos Equis.
