2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (2178) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 1, 2012
330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a small white head that quickly disappears and leaves a speck or two of lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and mild grassy hops. Taste is malty sweet with a light grassy hop bitterness. Flavors are not very well balanced and body is light with little carbonation. Just a typical macro lager with a little color added.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2012
May 2009: Brown 33cl bottle, 4.5% ABV, part of a 12 pack of 3 different lagers from this brewery and kept back after a Mexican evening we held some time ago. Poured into a Duvel glass.
Looked good, deep amber, redwood colour almost, the off-white head soon became a collar, which was a pity because the first impression was very impressive.
Malts dominate the aroma, in fact there isn’t much else to talk about, so I wont.
Taste disappointing, thin, weak and tinny. The malt within the brew is like a sickly addative and doesn’t sit well within the beer.
Started well, but as the review progressed it became obvious this wasn’t a good beer, no matter what style it is placed into.

Pours a dark coppery color with off-white head. Grainy aroma. Slightly sweet and just a little bitter. Very small bitter finish. Frothy mouthfeel. Not bad for a macro or for Cinco de Mayo.

From the bottle poured a amber brew with a thin white head. Well balanced flavors and aromas of malt and hops with a light body. Goes well with nachos.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 badhack (76) - San Jose, California, USA - APR 13, 2012
On draft into a tumbler. Slight amount of head and a fair amount of carbonation. A hint of hops in the nose, if anything. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin and oily. You are presented with a slight amount of caramel on top of a mild amount of malt. Finish is bitter and has an off flavor that sticks around like an unwelcome guest.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pintbypint (1610) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 11, 2012
355ml brown bottle. Dark gold, thin creamy white cap. Some decent lacing. Nose has grain and caramel. Taste is grains, caramel. A little caramel in the finish and dry grain. Lightish creamy body. Drinkable but nothing exciting going on.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bricktop86 (230) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - APR 7, 2012
Decent, but nothing grand. The beer is bready but balanced with floral hops. The beer is amber with a fizzy head. The taste is bread and floral hops. The body is smooth and clean.
1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 samsmith33 (45) - - APR 5, 2012
All i smell us the lime. Low yellow. Little carbonation. Flat even though on tap. Nothing funky is the only compliment I can give.

The better of the two Dos Equis. Neutral flavor but full aftertaste. Medium bodied and mild. Easy drinking.
