COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Much better than the other dos equis, I enjoyed the amber color , head was not bad, light flavor good in the heat.

Ok, I’ve not had this for a while, but I developed a liking for this when I worked for Oddbins. Streets ahead of other Mexican brews.

Bottle: Very easy drinking. Light and crisp. A typical lager. Goes great with mexican food.

12 oz. bottle. Pour medium brown, thin off-white head disappears in short order, no significant lacing. Faint aroma of brown malt. Taste is brown malt, pleasant bitterness. Body is on the thin side, which I expect in a lager, dry finish. No fault to be found. Enjoyed with a spicy Mexican meal, and find it better suited to the fare than my usual Mexican lager. Better than expected.

Ah now this one is so much better than the green bottled cousin. I actually enjoyed this one. Yeast/malty nose. Pours a nice dark amber with a nice malty taste to it. Finishes crisp, and pretty drinkable.

Very nice reddish color, but a slightly yeasty off smell. Not typically watery but something just a bit off in the yeasty taste. Somewhat dry and malty in the finish. Not all that bad even if a smaller macro, but also not all that good.

Nothing special in this beer, just the classic lager flavor, not bad not good.

Dark copper red with almost no lasting head. A little more body than the Dos Equis Special Lagerr, but still nothing substantial. Minimal flavor with slight malt and alcohol finish. Better than some of the other Mexican macros.
