Pretty darn good for a Mexican beer. Not a world class beer, but if you are enjoying Mexican fare, this is a decent choice. Maltier than most Mexican beers.

Bottle. Decent, clean amber, among the best of mexican beers. Nothing special about it though.

Bottle. Amber color. Low head that disappears too quickly. Smell is slightly malty. There is light maltiness and fruitiness in the flavor.

Pours amber with a small off white head. Aroma is mainly pale malt with maybe a little caramel. Taste is kind of light but of caramel and pale malts. Not bad but way overpriced for what it is.

Bottle at The Bear. Shared with Carlus12. Pours a dark amber beer with a bubble bath head and zero lacing - quite scary and reminiscent of detergent. Sweet malty nose. Highly carbonated. Metallic, powdery = yuck.

Sweet malty fruity nose. Orange/amber color with medium head. Light raisin sweetness, with a decent bitter bite to balance it. Full body, good carbonation, with nice clean finish. Solid easy drinking beer with a little complexity.

draught. Not much to say about this one. very much an amber color with some carbonation. no head. ok lacing. a smooth water taste. no hops, no malt, no fruit taste. a water lager mix. nice easy palate.

draught. tapped an amber color with a few bubbles floating around the rim of the glass trying to call itself head. no detectable aroma, though it was quite cold when it arrived. taste is simple and slightly sweet. finishes weak and watery. non offensive but hollow.

What is that? Lemon/lime scent - I can’t place it? Is it some sort of cleaning solution? The color is truly amber but lacking a head or any lacing worth mentioning. Sharp, biting initial taste with a light body. It’s somewhat hoppy but not in a particularly pleasing way. No wonder people add salt and lime. Drinkable but not flavorful.
