I'm not a big fan of this although it's the best they have at don pablos. Kind of like a killians but not near as deep.

Better than you expect even out of a can in a Mexican restaurant. Little wimpy but its not a bad back up when i cannot get Shiner.

Suggested by a friend off the tap while out dinner. The flavor’s stronger than what I usually like, but good and crisp. The bottle doesn’t compare.

This is my go to Mexican food beer. Is it world class? Nope. Is it completely drinkable? Absolutely. There is not much to the aroma. Taste is slightly bitter and maybe a little sour. There is a little roasted malt pleasantness going on. The beer leaves a decent taste on the palate that is pleasing enough to order it every time you go out for carnitas. What more could one ask for?

Truly a neutral beer. It’s good to get when nothing else is available. Has some strange useless trivia associated with it as it’s actually a vienna lager.

Decent beer with a lime. She looks a lot darker than she tastes. Great with any spicy food.

I suppose for a mainstream Mexican beer it is what it is but personally I found it underwelming. No real colour or flavour to speak of, was quite disapointing.

This one was actually a decent beer, and the best available down in mexico. -AROMA- its faint, but sweet sugary malts -APPEARANCE- I really liked this aspect of the beer, a gorgeous clear ruby red, with hints of gold -TASTE- bready and sweet, mild caramel taste -PALATE- thin mouthfeel, and lower than average carbonation, finishes with mild floral hops -BOTTOM LINE- better than the lager if youre actually looking for taste, a better than average macro so not a bad choice on vacation

Dos Equis XX Amber is MUCH better than its green-bottled (and more widely available) sister beer.

Better than corona, but not great. Pretty average. It’s definitely worse than the commercial, lol.
