2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Balthazar (86) - Clinton, USA - JUL 22, 2007
Light amber color with a nice head that dissolves quickly. It had a light hoppy taste but overall good flavor without a harsh aftertaste. Not much of an aroma. I would consider naming it a gem among my favorite bad beers ;)
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 dinkle50 (332) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Amber pour from a bottle with a big thick head. Aroma of copper and metal. Slight caramel. Mouth is thin. Taste is light. Mostly caramel. This is not overly flavorful and lacks balance.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ACHops (35) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 25, 2012
On tap, pours medium amber with thin white head. Slightly sweet aroma. Biscuity, caramel malt taste marked by an almost complete lack of hops. Not totally, but close. Aftertaste is... nothing. Not objectionable, really, just not much there. On the other hand, generally one of your better bets at Mexican places.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a very light amber with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of caramel and skunk. Taste is about the same. Better than regular Dos Equis but still nothing special.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 radio_nowhere (70) - Maryland, USA - MAY 21, 2012
On-tap at a local Mexican restaurant. Amber color, minimal beige head. Aroma is bread, grass and some malts. Taste is much the same, a little caramel sweetness.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 ComradeK (526) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - MAY 21, 2012
330ml bottle. I consumed this straight from the bottle, so I can’t comment on the pour. The aroma is straightforward dark lager: simple, grassy hops with some dark, bready malt notes. Simple grassy and slightly herbal hops notes are present up front. Grainy and slightly sweet malt gives this a decent amount of body. Mild, grassy hops make up the finish. This is a pretty simplistic commercial dark lager, but not horrific.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 gunnfryd (7045) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is berries, malt, caramel, fruit. Flavour is fruit, caramel, berries, malt, floral. Thin body. Boring beer.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 mwbrady12 (79) - - MAY 19, 2012
Mild aroma and thin amber orange pour leads to a minimal but satisfying taste that is dry on the palate. Easy drinking beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 bytemesis (149) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Tap. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is malty, grainy, some slight sweetness. Flavor is roasted malts, grain, with a very light bitterness. Watery, but crisp with a clean finish. Better than the malignment here would indicate. Entirely average from my perspective, which makes it a drinkable alternative to any mass produced pale lager.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 nevets4433 (439) - - MAY 15, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Party rate. Darkish lager color. Small brown head. Aroma has some mild sweetness but is overall quite muted. Taste has a decent amount of the same sweet, caramel malt that was in the nose. Simple, sweet, and sessionable. For a supermarket Mexican macro, it could be a lot worse.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MarkSachon (183) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
12 oz bottle from the Mexican Beers sampler case. Had it straight without any lime enhancements just to see if it had any virtues on its own. None were found other than to say it is an average lighter beer with some red coloring added to make it seem more exotic.
