0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 paco (512) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - FEB 4, 2012
Bottle. Pours dark amber in color. Some head that ends up being a film at best. Aromas of malt and some dishwater. Tastes like dishwater. A bit of sourness and a hint of bitterness. Drain pour.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 1, 2012
Originally rated August 2005. Even though this beer is popular in Canada, this is my first experience. Always put this one in the Corona/Sol category. Never realised this was an amber brew. Pours a beautiful golden-brown colour with a small fizzy head and hardly any retention. Some basic lace is left, but no more. The nose is a mixture of caramel malt and a dark and grainy/bread scent in the background. The taste is kind of weird. Not much bitterness, and hard to explain the actual mouth. Grain kicks in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is quite flat and boring. Overall, better coloured beer for a Central America one, but just barely better then Corona and Sol.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Danny1217 (77) - Miami, Florida, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Not bad for the price, but very boring and too sweet in a way that upsets my stomach.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dbarnold (576) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JAN 30, 2012
Better than average in my opinion. Malty ad toasty yet refreshing. Crisp and clean finish. Served best very cold, but in that case not bad.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Davros (919) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 29, 2012
Pours dark amber with a large, quickly fading head.
Nose shows caramel and nutty malt, along with vegetal notes.
Some caramel carries through as a flavour, but otherwise it’s pretty boring and very light-on.
Body seems watery.

I’m not a fan of bittering hops so this beer’s malty flavor works fine for me. It has a mild aroma and tastes of grain and light caramel. Its not the one I want to drink every day, but a better than average restaurant style beer.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 OleR (3510) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 27, 2012
Bottle, picked up @Jacob’s, Oslo. Bright reddish amber. Low dense blond top. Sweet and sugary malt drops aroma. Taste is far on the sweet side. Not entirly unclean, but the sugary malts dont make it very refreshing. A sour tone underneath, and barely any bittering hops. Light-bodied, sticky texture.
Short sugary caramel ending.
1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 boxofrane (205) - pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2012
Bottle. Pours Amber with a small white head. I have to be honest - the appearance is as good as this gets. The aroma on this is awful..rotten eggs.. rubber.. just bad. The taste is just cheap malt with some cheaper yeast added. This makes miller lite taste like heaven. Poor.
