COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Had out of a bottle from Cesars in Chicago, IL. Red amber in color with a medium tan head. Taste is caramel hops and malt. I like this better than the lager.

Good copper red color. Clean malt flavor with a touch of hops at the end. Musky malt aroma... Overall, a clean tasting (read not offensive) brew. Good for BBQs.

Aroma of sweet caramel. Appearance is reddish brown with tan head. Flavor matches the nose. Palate is creamy. Nothing to write home about.

12 oz. bottle. Clear amber (surprise) pour. Decent off white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Smooth and sweet tasting. On a hot day, not too bad.

Clear brown in color. Malty aroma. Sort of a light roasty-baked maltiness in the taste. A weak and watery finish. Meh.

Not near as enjoyable as the green bottle. I think if this beer has a different label, it would not be as popular (same story as Corona)

Draft. Pours amber with thin, fluffy white head. Malty aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Bland taste. Basic Mexican beer.

lucent copper, thin white head.

taste and aroma have a bit more caramel malt than most adjunct lagers. not too different from their special lager, but more versatile for pairing.
