COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

This beer has te same crappy aroma that all CM beer have, you get some graian and metal, thin body, the flavor has notes of caramel, slighty roasted malt, and the caracteristic and terrible metalic finish, absolutely not recomended.

Nice malty taste. Virtually no hops. Drinks like a soda. Would be Interesting If fermented further.

Bottle - burnt caramel colour with a slightly off white head. Caramel molasses aroma with some cereal. Taste is a bit of a let down, neither bitter nor sweet and not much in the way of an after taste.Thin mouth feel with a light carbonation.

I don’t normally drink Dos Equis but when I do, I drink this one! I’d say of all the brews coming from Mexico, this is one of my favorites. Just a nice dry, crisp, clean and refreshing vienna lager.

This beer is awful, it is undrinkable, I had to ask a lot of lemons to finally drink half bottle, like corona, taste like vegetables, corn, etc.

Tasted about a hundred years ago. I recall red amber-gold colour and clean aromas and flavours. Intriguing that the Vienna style persisted in Mexico long after the Austrians had gone. An enjoyable drop from memory. I’ll have to hunt it out again.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 12 oz bottle pours dark amber with a white head. Aroma - caramel and nutty malt. Taste of malt and a hint ofcaramel carries through.

A cut above the average lager, but still not up to the standards of most American beers. Drinkable.
