Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Bottle, amber pour with a medium white head. Caramel and toast on the nose. Flavor is malt and a little hop.

Overall Impression: I actually like this one a good bit for a Macro, not a great beer, but it has a bit of flavor to it, which is nice. Sure, its a little watery and grainy, but its a Mexican lager, you weren’t expecting to get a big hoppy finish or something, were you? One of the better choices at Mexican Restaurants and Cinco De Mayo parties.

Poured a dark amber color. A better mexican beer. Good beer to have at dinner. Aroma wasn’t the greatest.

The first time I had this it was a drain pour, I gave this a second chance. Poured a with a good head nice amber color. sweet nutty flavor, smooth aftertaste. much better than the first time around.

draft at Cozumel. Light to medium amber pour. Better than most mexican’s. Light malty taste to seperate itself. Drinkable & not a bad summer beer

Although this stuff is quite a bit better than the average Mexican brew and nowhere near some of the really good stuff that I’ve had, it’s still pretty much ass. Solid amber colour, so-so foam up that vanished..no effervecence. Smell is pretty harsh whn cold - nasty corn and crap hops, but when it warms it...well...I guess it doesn’t get any better really...still sweet. Taste is ok with some tasty weak malts that come across sort of dry, but the corn, alcohol and whatever else kills any real enjoyment here. The brew comes across a bit watery, fizzy and with some noticable alcohol (weak) - realistically it feels lilke I have foam in my mouth. Empty finish. Waste of money. Better than their other offering which is just plain horrid.

Smells and tastes like sweet corn. Pours a light, golden brown color with no head. The taste has only a hint of both malt and hop. Not offensive though. Better than some, but still a very boring beer.

Light amber in color with a thin white head...Slightly sweet smelling.. Taste is somewhat sweet and a little dry.
