Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. Pours a clear amber color with a fizzy off white head, the scent is of caramel malts, slight bit of citrus and a bit of metal, taste follows the nose and it’s somewhat thin bodied and dry, not too bad, goes good with mexican food.

Reminds me of pennies. Perhaps it’s just too cold, but pennies, pennies, oh- maybe a little malt.

Draft @ Abuelo’s restaurant in OKC - Good color, above average taste - I like this Amber version better than the Especial version

tap. my go to beer at a local Mexican restaurant where the food is good, but the beer selection...not so great. pours brownish amber with little head or lacing. aroma and taste is some cereal grains and mild caramel. not a bad beer. my guilty pleasure with Mexican food.

Bottle-Looks good when your pour with an amber color and medium head that lasts. That’s the high point, the aroma is old, spent, stale? I’m not sure which. No taste to note, especially malt or caramel, no real afteraste either, mostly water. At least I got this beer out of the way. Produce place, 1.49

poured an interestingly rusty color, smelled somewhat old and grainy with sweetness in the background...Extremely metallic flavors and other mildewy nonsense...Damn, has it always been this bad? Is this bottle just old and oxidized? The very perfect word to describe this beer would be "Stale"..But it doesn’t necessarily taste like its past its prime...it tastes like it never had a prime to begin with.

Draft. Clear copper pour, small fizzy head. Cheap grain, slight sweetness, and stale hops. Very light and watery.

~Sweet corny biscuity malt aroma, sour notes and spicy hops. ~Pours a clear amber color with small lasting white head. ~Malty biscuity malts with some sour tang notes and light spicy hop. ~Med body, med high CO2, malty slightly spicy finish, ~Ok beer. Could drink a few of these with spicy food.
