Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Bottle, picked up @Jacob’s, Oslo. A layer of tiny blond bubbles, on a plain gold colored body. Harsh buttery malt aroma. Notes of wort and stale bread. Light sugary malt flavor with a sourish twist. Some bittering hops can be noticed. Harsh suger-accented malt finish. Mediocre.

Normally I would not rate this, but today I’m feeling "froggy". Pretty generic lager. Not really anything on the aroma or taste, just a little malty sweetness. Good for getting drunk cheaply.

Bottle - pours pale yellow with no head. Not much of an aroma, bit of sweet malt. Next to no taste. watery mouthfeel with a slight carbonation.
