COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Kickass Mexican lager. Great for hot weather activities (eg. deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.)

Dos Equis Lager is one of my favorites. It is smoother than Corona and some of the other Mexican beers, but it isn’t bland. The bottle looks cool too.

(7/21/01...3.6 rating)This stuff is good. I’m normally not a big fan of lager, but this actually tastes great. No flowery or grainy tastes; just the right amount of bitterness with a strong, appetizing flavor. I have yet to come across a better lager.============(RERATE 1/19/02) Funny how a few hundred beers can change your impression...I just can’t stomach lagers anymore as the lack of flowery yeast flavors I mentioned earlier are now much more noticeable to my trained tongue.

Not bad beer. I would drink it again in a pinch. I liked it better than their amber. For having a green bottle, this stuff wasn’t skunky at all.

Not too bad. Slightly sweet, medium carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy. A great beer with guacamole, chips and salsa!

A staple Mexican brew. Very good (as mexibrews go) Sweet and malty, but thin and smooth. Very easy to drink.

Im not a big fan of Mexican beers, so I am biased. This is probably me favorite of them all nontheless. Whenever I ask chicks if they drink beer and which their favorite is, I hear Dos Equis mentioned more than anything else....you do the math.
