COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Pretty blah version of a Mexican mass lager

Uninteresting mexican beer. Too watery and very easy to drink. Better than Sol (and Corona) though.

Not as good as the Amber, but it is very good lager to have with dinner. Light without tasting like water.

Forget the fine-point analysis of malt/hop hair splitting with this. It’s basic beer - but a very, very good tasting, pleasantly dry beer. Skip the lime, though. Wonderful with food, as is it’s stablemate ’XX’, and light years better than that ’Corona’ well-water.

Very good beer, as expensive as Corona, but is much tastier. very, very smooth and easy drinking. don’t spoil this one with a lime, even though lime isn’t not bad in it, or try a lemon twist instead. the colder it is, the better it tastes. one of my favorite beers.

I’ll take this over Corona any day. A good Mexican beer, but certainly not the best.

Much like Corona but a little better, but it still is piss-poor.
