COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

When I don’t have any much selection and am looking for something on the lighter side, I enjoy drinking this beer. Very smooth and light tasting. Taste can get old after a while though; it’s easy for me to get burnt out on this beer. I think it is safe for me to say this is a one dimensional beer tastewise.

Tap, Light golden color with a foamy white head. Mild citrus aroma. Light malt sweetness and a touch of bitterness. No real faults. A decent offering with "hot" food.

Not as good as Dos Equis Amber, but still good. Tastes much better than a corona.

The Amber is a much prettier beer, but the two are fairly similar in taste.

Yeah, its a mexican beer. Better than some of the piss that Corona makes, but its nothing special. Really good on a hot Christmas morning with a lime in it

I enjoyed this with a lime in it, but then again, Corona also tastes good with a lime in it. However, this beer is far superior to the aforementioned Corona, and has a satisfying taste by itself.

Not bad stuff, beats the hell out of Corona. As far as mexican beer goes, its pretty damn good...maybe thats because a German brewed it origionaly

Easiest the best mexican beer.

Not too bad if it isn’t skunked, unfortunately that is rare. The amber is pretty decent though.

Still better than most of the American Macros, but it is overall thin in the taste and body department.
