COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Better than a Corona (whoa nelly) but not very memorable.

Bottle. Not much of a taste in this one, but it was quite drinkable. One of the better Mexican beers.

I should have had a lime in it. I could have at least had some flavor then. (bottle)

Mild hop aroma with slight tang--not offensive, not attractive...Color is standard pale gold with slightly better-than-aveerage white macro head...Hops have decent bittering but no bloom...Slightly sweet malt bottom...Carbonation moderate...Balance acceptable...On the whole, quite drinkable but nothing out of the ordinary...However, it does carry an import price...Much better values out there than this...

This is my most favorite beer that comes south of USA. Maybe even better. This bitter beer is exquisite in showing a great ESB.

Pretty good beer... has what I thought was kind of a "limey" taste. In fact, the bartenders will put a lime in this one unless you ASK them not to, it really doesnt need one. Not that its hard to do, but this beer makes Corona look like ass.

Medium gold color, no head. Light hops and malts. Very dry taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is dry. There is almost a champagne like finish to this beer. Kind of strange.Aftertaste is dry and slightly malty. Not a lot of flavor.

When I don’t have any much selection and am looking for something on the lighter side, I enjoy drinking this beer. Very smooth and light tasting. Taste can get old after a while though; it’s easy for me to get burnt out on this beer. I think it is safe for me to say this is a one dimensional beer tastewise.
