2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap. Pours a clear pale gold with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has notes of sweet grains and corn with a touch of straw. Flavor has corn throughout with a grain backbone.

Just like Corona but probably not as good. Had it on a cruise. It was slim pickins.

Nose has no discernable flavors. Really light watery palate. Add a lime and a beach and it gets much better

tap. Pale golden with small head. Grassy bland lager. Light on flavor, but does go down easy on a warm day.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sweet aroma, very little head, light golden appearance. No bitterness or aftertaste, but not much taste either. Would be nice after a workout.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Smells like the lime she stuck in it, but it doesn't help much anyway. Basic malt. Sweet. Thin. It's beer. Better than Bud.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear gold, no head. Grain, hay and corn aroma, pretty standard pale lager smell. Not as funky as a lot of green bottles - good sign? Not really - grainy, corny, not a lot of flavour and watery. Harmless enough.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap. A clear golden beer served with more or less no head, just a few white bubbles. The aroma is pretty standard pale lager, uninteresting, with a hint of yellow apples and pears, some faint grass and hay scents and a touch of pale malts. The flavor is much the same boring stuff, not much bitterness either, fairly enough to keep it from getting sweet, even though it’s quite dry. Soft carbonation, but perhaps a bit too much. Short finish, which is just as good. A very uninteresting one, but I guess it slides down easily in the Mexican heat. Don’t think I’ll have this again. 130903

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
341 ml bottle sample @ Agave Ottawa. Pours a clear straw color with a large but short lived white head. Aromas are light chalk, light grains, and a distinct smell I can't identify. Mild malty grain, a touch if alcohol, and the slightest bit of bitter at the back end. Very light thin body, smooth but virtually nothing distinctive. I could drink a lot of these but not a great beer.
