Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

On draft at an chili´s in Braintree, MA. Watery in the glass, no head, a lot of CO2 pearls are fast growing up. Nothing on the nose. Very low malt, low bitterness, maybe low grainy, rice? Boring, never more.

Pour from bottle to glass, white head that was gone within a minute. Not much in the way of an aroma. Nice golden color heavy carbonation. Crisp but not much else going on. Was a single at a local convenient store.so i thought id try it

Poured from bottle into a pint glass: Pours golden yellow with a thick, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of sweet malt, corn, and pils stink. Taste is more of the same, a slightly sweet corn water with some pils characteristics, and surprisingly a little bit of fruit. It’s a standard lager, maybe slightly better than Bud Heavy. High carbonation, light body. It’s ok.

Clear Golden beer, small while head, standard carbonation, weak nose, with some dough aromas, light body, not too much flavor, watery sensation from the begin to the end, without an specific aftertaste.
