Slacks (355), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Jan 27, 2008 12oz Bottle: Obviously a popular choice, even amongst those I traveled with. What I couldn’t figure out after trying it was why? This was the single and only "drainpour" of my trip, and by drainpour I mean I tossed it in the garbage can. Not only was it fizzy, plain, and yellow but it was actually really poor in what flavour it had. I swear there’s absolutely no accounting for taste, I’d never try this or its "unique strain of yeast" again.
unclemattie (1518), Georgia, USA Jul 17, 2008 Green 12oz bottle. pours clear golden, thin white head. aroma of corn adjuncts. Flavor is light, malty, bland, boring. Mexican corn on the cob in a bottle. Perfect while watching Nacho Libre or a short vaca in Cancun. Both of which I won’t do! I’m sure that this is still way better than the water. MrManning (1411), London, Ontario, Canada Jul 17, 2008 Sampled at the Downtown London Beerfest. Pale sparkling gold under a short lived fizzy white cap. Nose of pale malts and sweet grains, some veggie aromas come after. Sweet grains and pale malts with grassy hops that barely make their mark. Fizzy, somewhat bitter finish. I feel I’ve had this beer a thousand times before. KeithD (181), Outer Space, Congo Jul 17, 2008 Had this on tap in St. Cloud MN with some righteous fajitas. It did the job fine, it’s crisp with a clean finish, fairly thirst-quenching, easy to pound, no big deal. bp_17 (3), , Manitoba, Canada does not count Jul 13, 2008 Good summer beer. Put a wedge of lime and it’s solid. Goes down crisp and easy. Imaena (160), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle 08.’ Pair this up with mexican food and eat out side as it will give you some residual gas. This is not a beer you uy to sip on and ponder. You chill it, drink it, and reload.
