Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

This lager poured a very light yellow with a minimal, bright white soapy head. To the nose there are scents of eggs, corn and light malt. First swig was as thin as gasoline with prodominant flavours of corn and almost a honey flavour. Finish was light corn and slightly sweet malt. Muck.

Can on a American Airlines flight. Pale gold with a thin head. Aron’s is malt and grain. Flavour is grain and corn, a little bitter metal.

Pale gold pour, absent head. Nose is sweet malted corn. More sweet than not. Middle is, what? The sweet corn from the aroma is the main flavor profile with a slight floral presence. Finish is vapid. I cannot figure this one out.

Top 10 beer. My go to in the week or on the weekends. Will drink an entire 12 pack and doesn’t get old.

Típica mexicana. Para tomar fría, porque si no mejor no tomarla. Sin aroma, sin cuerpo, sabor cereal, maíz. Aun sí mejor que Tecate.

355ml can from fridge in room at Moon Palace. Aroma: honey, light floral. App: clear pale, minimal white head. Taste and palate: extra light body, almost no taste, soft carbonation, extra light acidity finish. Overall: pretty bad, even with this really hot weather. Tasteless beer.

I had it from the bottle. The taste is watery and corn with some metal. It’s very bland. Even for a Mexican macro, it’s pretty poor.

I mean it's dos Equis. What do you want me to say? I'll drink it if there's nothing better and I'll buy it for people who do appreciate the good stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Meh! Drinking out of a green bottle. Buttery, carbonated, very little going on.

Basically no aroma. Not much to the taste either. What taste there was wasn’t very good.

I think I’M the most interesting man in the world. I don’t often drink adjunct lagers, but when I do, I definitely do NOT prefer Dos Equis. This beer is not even close to being interesting, so don’t stay thirsty my friends for this beer. Save your money and buy a better and lower priced AAL, my friends.
