Low hop aroma. Pale golden with good white head. Clean taste with low bitterness and balanced malt - no detectable flaws. Light body with lively carbonation. Clean, finish with low bitterness. A well crafted lager

330 ml bottle. Clear golden yellow, healthy white lasting froth. Sweet grainy lager malt aroma. Taste is mostly bland bready lightly sweet pale lager malt with a hint of floral citrus. Softer than average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Forgettable. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

From a bottle. Pours clear amber with a quickly fading head, smooth and slightly fruity. Not a bad effort.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fine citrus note over an orange pale ale hue. A little sweet and not much on the carbonation side. A nice change never the less.

2.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Good concept done badly or fringe concept done really well?..., in lies the ol’ brown paper bag! A pale lager, and out of Melbourne too; birthplace of the mocco wearing ’ocker’ larrikin known proudly pulling up trumps as the bogan. Then what the hell is the label reading some story of mole people in the U.S, late 90’s? (could be a little ignorance on my part!)
Chilled and into a Mexican tumbler - I don’t know; seemed fitting. Tawny amber with moderate, fine effervescence and a soppy, lasting white foam that daubs a split lace. Aroma of kelp, salted corn chips and dank, old cardboard left rotting in the rain - a bit putrid to be harsh! Nutty and soapy palate. Vienna malz? Biscuity with a metallic tinge. Medium-light bodied with a foamy mouthfeel. Nutty, woody length. Plenty of malt does actually make up for the horrendous aroma - a possibility I thought null and void. Cascade hops are nowhere to be seen - peppery touch of hops more reminiscent of something Noble in there late. This was late night enchilada accompaniment more than lawnmower beer, which says little. Overall..., just plain confused! Brown paper bag anyone!?! (33cL, BB 29/05/15, Dan Murphy’s, Cannington)

This beer pours a beautiful pale amber with a tight white head. Pine on the nose but the taste is a little bit lacking. Nice beer

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle) Clear golden with small short-lived head. Aroma is grassy, slightly metallic with hints of candy. Light body with good amount if fine carbonation. Taste is simple and basic, but within that constraint quite reasonable. There’s a nice balance of some light malt sweetness and some light tartness, with some reasonable hoppy bitterness to finish. Simple, refreshing and easily drinkable.
[The paper bag was beige / tan with an interesting logo printed in dense black ink. The aroma was papery. The body was very substantial, it was thick paper with a rough to fluffy surface. I omitted to taste the bag, so cannot comment on the flavour other than surmising it would be similar to the aroma. The bag was well matched to the bottle, rendering it essentially useless for repurposing, however, in its context, it rates very highly on the hedonic scale.]
