Dec 14, 2007 On tap at the 2007 GABF: Nearly opaque black with a thin ring of light tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet and roasty dark malts. Body starts with a light sweetness, some mild dark chocolate and roasty notes toward a smooth, but thin finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.

Oct 29, 2006 on tap-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is licorice, coffee. Taste is coffee. With a medium body still seems thin. Mild carbonation.
