does not count  Mar 21, 2008 Double wow! Talk about a hefty beer. the great thing is, you don’t even realize its so massive until halfway through it. goes down nice and smooth, not too hoppy. Goes down as one of brewing’s great achievements.

Mar 19, 2008 What a heavy beer. Thick luscious head for a 10% beer. Pours a heavy amber hue with ruby hints. Very hoppy yet balanced.

Mar 16, 2008 Thanks to Ramenen. Bottle: Complex and big, sweet malty notes with fruit, hops and caramel touches. The body is heavy, oily and thick. Lives up to expectations.

does not count Mar 15, 2008 Thanks to Geoff from Firehouse for hooking me up with these bottles in LV. Pours a nice robust caramel red, and the lacing head is chino, spidery and fine. An excellent nose, with a spicy hop bouquet and a firm malt twist. It’s a very creamy beer in the mouth, almost feels like a steam beer in that respect. Excellent hop translucence mixes with the malt bop and finishes with a clean, refreshing albeit exceedingly alcoholic zing. Not for the novice beer drinker!!
