COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate. íCourse thereís always the masochists...

Bottled. A copper beer with a medium sized white head. Aroma is heavy malty with some fruitiness and hoppy. Taste is malty and hoppy. Strong but very well balanced. Noticeable alcohol. Very dry finish with wood notes. Great beer.

Pours a cloudy orange-brown with an off-white head and nice lace. Sweet aroma, nice citrus, bitterness in the finish. Thick, sweet malt and nice bitter aftertaste. Thick body and good carbonation. Tasty!

Bottle purchased at Elevated. Consumed with Saturday Shirt. Pint glass. Deep amber color with an off white head. Aroma has the traditional Stone hop elements but a little bit more malt sweetness than most. Taste has plenty of hops but itís undercut by sweetness. Itís very drinkable and highly enjoyable. The alcohol is well hidden. Little bit of bitterness at the end. This is a great beer by one of the best hop centric breweries. Definitely worth a try. You bastard.

650ml bottle. Deep ruby red. The aroma of a whole bag of sweet caramel. The taste is firmly bitter, simultaneously sweet, hard candies, raisins, plums, sawdust. Several complex and deep flavors.

This mighty brew is really a treat. Aroma is dark fruits, sweet notes of vanilla, plums and caramel. The taste is also on the sweeter side of the spectrum, but with the massive hop profile it manages to keep up a certain attitude as a trouble maker. A true bastard.

A very big beer. Mouthfeel is almost perfect. Great hops and huge punch with the 11%. You can definitely taste the booze. Overall this is a great beer.

Bomber to a pint... Hazy copper-amber with thin tan head and lacing. Toffee with floral and pine resin nose. Layered and complex flavors, smooth, balanced, dry bitter finish. Hides the ABV well... Excellent Strong Ale!

Pours a dark red with a 1 finger off white head. Has the aroma of dark fruit and caramel, Strong flavor that follows nose with lots of malts and a booziness and heat at the end but that is not a complaint, its part of the experience. Next time I go to Illinois I will be picking up a few more bottles.

This beer is amazing. Deep, rich, complex maltiness. High gravity and residual dissolved sugar content. You might wish to have a glass of ice water to chase each sip. One bomber might put you in a diabetic and alcoholic stupor. This is a big boy beer or one to share if you bought the bomber. I have all but forgotten the regular bastard by Stone brewing after drinking this beer!

From the bomber, it appears almost black with red highlights, has a nice white collar. At first tastes like sweet malt, then hops and bitter, with an exhale of alcohol. All things considered i would think this is the type of beverage "The Devil" would serve you if you were invited to his home to discuss terms of an agreement. The warmth and rapid buzz might loosen one up to sign the paper.
