A very soft beer, light in body and taste, and pretty much harmless. It pours from the tap with a nice head that quickly dissapates as you search hard for taste and come up with little - a dry whiff of hops, perhaps.

Decent brew. Nice hops. This is ’By Appointment To Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’. Hmmmmm, a good beer, but you’d think my monarch would drink a better brew than this?

It’s a pale ale for sure, also in flavour. But still enjoyable - like most ales.

Disgusting. Poured it out right away. Bad aftertaste in my opinion. Maybe I had a bad batch.

Colour like Lipton tea...Fruity aroma (frambois). More hoppy than malty. Light and nice.

On 8/11/01 I rated this giving it a 3.2 and saying ’I wasn’t really expecting much from this brew. But it has a nice slight hoppiness which is pretty good. Seems like a nice drinkable beer.’ I had it again and it really isn’t that good though the characteristics described still are true.

Reminscient of Bass, but probably a bit hoppier and drier, with that classic British flavour.
