1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 17, 2002
Amber coloured. Neutral aroma with hint of green apples. Light-bodied, near thin, with low bitterness and slight sulfur aroma. This ale got ’megabrewed’ written all across it.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20 oh6gdx (15510) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2005
Canned, clear orange colour, creamy white head. Smell is malty and bitter. So far so good, looks like a more promising one than Caffreys Irish Ale, but no. Once you taste this one you get the big surprise, it’s very watery and the only taste I find is a very sour one. The taste completely spoils the beer imo. It gets worse and worse the warmer it gets. Plus points for that it looks nice, and it feels good in the mouth (with taste not counted). But that’s almost the only positive things.
