3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sampled at the brewpub. Clear golden. White foam. Gentle and subtle floral and fruit. Fairly big bitterness considering the subtleness of flavors. Light spiciness. Nice.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale dandelion with a soft haze and a fuzzy off-white head. The cluster hops give this an earthy, herbal aroma like wet soil. Yeast contribute a red-apple fruitiness. Flavor is very light, and there’s no sign of the 85 IBU of bitterness. Smells and tastes more like an American Pilsner than an IPA. Try again, Double Mountain.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
As a home brewer I’ve long liked these hops, and double mountain turns them loose. I can’t forget a beer like Green Flash’s Palate Wrecker for it’s pine intensity, but Cluster sets that piney a little to the back, cushioned in caramel and lemon. The aroma is more assertively pine, with sawdust & caramel, clean finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottled on: 06/04/14. Opaque paler orange, whiter foam mostly fades. Aroma of fruity citrus hop. Herbal berry fruity hop taste, somewhat tropical, faintly floral and spiced, mild sweet malts, low bitterness. Softer than average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Hardly a series of chaotic events. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Retry Fresh one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Citrusy and piney hops. A little sweet leaning, but bitter enough to notice too. I like the pils malt, but still a little heavy for my taste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a golden topped with a small head. Nose is citrus pine hops and some sweetness. Taste is more of the hop combo citrus and pine with a good malt bill.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with light head and some floating sediment. Aromas of candied citrus, tropical fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of pine/spruce and bitter citrus peel with a late bitter vegetable note. Nice experiment using the older hops but I think I’ll avoid in the future.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A light sweet malty body well balanced against piney citrus hop profile, lighter on the bitterness but pleasant.

Bottle. Deep golden color with ivory sheen. Earthy, dank, citrusy hop aromas with some malt sweetness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Big spicy, earthy, herbal, citrusy hoppy flavors with a dusty pale malt base brew___nicely drying finish---very tasty.
