COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, glowing, powerful IPA is packed with assertive Northwest hops that are floral, citrusy and resinous. A healthy dose of Munich malt helps to provide backbone and balance against the hoppy attack. The result? Explosive! Brewed with Gambrinus Organic Pilsner and Munich Malt, Centennial and Cascade hops. 7.0% ABV, 75 BU

Bottle to tulip glass. I think this must have been waaaay past it’s prime, if I ever get a chance to score a fresh one I will re-rate. Pours golden cloudy orangey with a lot foamy white head. Munich malts on the nose, no hop presence whatsoever, this smelled like a run of the mill APA. Taste was more of the same, this has to be long past it’s time of goodness. Bitterness is quite low, the malt presence is pretty much all I’m tasting. Based on all the other characteristics of this beer you can tell its well made, the mouthfeel and carbonation are both very pleasing and again probably quite nice when fresh. This came across the country in a car and was one of the last beers I got after. Better luck next time methinks!

Bottle. Pours yellow gold white head. Nose/taste of caramel malt, citrus, resin, florals, orange blossom, spicy toasted bread and lemon peel. Lighter medium body.

Vattnig Ipa med en långvarig besk eftersmak, frågan är men vart humlen tog vägen. Inte ofta jag blir besviken på öl från Oregon.

500ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrusy fruits with some hints of grapefruit and pine and cereal grains. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness balanced nicely with a fruity and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A solid IPA that is well balanced and definitely worth sampling.

500 ml Bottle. Hazy golden orange pour capped with a healthy later of sea foam. Faint aroma of floral hops, toasted grains and citrus. Flavor is orange, tangerine and honey upfront along with some biscuit malt and pine to round it out. Also a bit of herbal hops bitterness and caramel in the finish. Overall, a fairly well-balanced PNW style IPA.

Had a pint of this heaven on draft at mothers in Portland with breakfast. It goes well with eggs and coffee! Fluorescent orange pour with white head. Fruity smell. Mild hops. Grapefruit and orange tropical flavor. Well done.

I like the word in the description, that says "glowing", it fits. Beautiful hazy medium golden with high, rocky head; big, chunky bits of lacing. Light but pungent hop aroma, hops and malt represent equally in the taste, some spiciness. Slight astringency burn at the finish. Really, really good.

I love a good hop bomb and this one measures up. Very pretty to look at. Murky orange color with a big frothy head. Aroma is piney and floral. Taste has some underlying malt but then the hops takes over. Finish is fresh without a metallic bite.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Poured into a Double Mountain pint glass. Golden-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some tropical fruit notes as well as a good amount of toffee and caramel malt. The flavor is similar. I get some pine and pineapple notes as well as some sweet malty notes. There is a hint of bitterness and resin character from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off white head on it. Nose is hoppy, but tastes old like the hops have turned. Just doesn’t smell fresh. Taste is moderately bitter, but still doesn’t seem fresh. Ok.

Decent Northwest-style IPA -- bold hops and big malts. Nice golden-orange color. Toasty with a mild, caramel-like sweetness. Floral, grassy and citrusy with a bitter, flower-petal-like finish.
