This big, glowing, powerful IPA is packed with assertive Northwest hops that are floral, citrusy and resinous. A healthy dose of Munich malt helps to provide backbone and balance against the hoppy attack. The result? Explosive! Brewed with Gambrinus Organic Pilsner and Munich Malt, Centennial and Cascade hops. 7.0% ABV, 75 BU

Bottle to tulip glass. I think this must have been waaaay past itís prime, if I ever get a chance to score a fresh one I will re-rate. Pours golden cloudy orangey with a lot foamy white head. Munich malts on the nose, no hop presence whatsoever, this smelled like a run of the mill APA. Taste was more of the same, this has to be long past itís time of goodness. Bitterness is quite low, the malt presence is pretty much all Iím tasting. Based on all the other characteristics of this beer you can tell its well made, the mouthfeel and carbonation are both very pleasing and again probably quite nice when fresh. This came across the country in a car and was one of the last beers I got after. Better luck next time methinks!

I love a good hop bomb and this one measures up. Very pretty to look at. Murky orange color with a big frothy head. Aroma is piney and floral. Taste has some underlying malt but then the hops takes over. Finish is fresh without a metallic bite.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Poured into a Double Mountain pint glass. Golden-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some tropical fruit notes as well as a good amount of toffee and caramel malt. The flavor is similar. I get some pine and pineapple notes as well as some sweet malty notes. There is a hint of bitterness and resin character from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off white head on it. Nose is hoppy, but tastes old like the hops have turned. Just doesnít smell fresh. Taste is moderately bitter, but still doesnít seem fresh. Ok.

Decent Northwest-style IPA -- bold hops and big malts. Nice golden-orange color. Toasty with a mild, caramel-like sweetness. Floral, grassy and citrusy with a bitter, flower-petal-like finish.

Pours cloudy orange with a big frothy off-white head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is full of grapefruit, lemon zest, floral and piney. Flavors are floral, grapefruit, mild bready and pine resin, pepper, dry
Wow, Iím blown away at how good this is. Well balanced and easy drinking.

On tap at alibi. Very cloudy yellow orange with low cap, good lacing. Aroma of orange and lemon zest, and "tree" bubble gum. Initial taste is mostly bitter, but of course the sweetness peeks it's head. Dry finish from a medium carbonation.

Stale cracker malt body. Some light caramel sweetness and a little hard candy bite. A little grapefruit coming through.

500 ml. bottle. It pours a nice clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is rather muted, but has some floral, earthy, piney and citrus hops. The flavor is strongly bitter with some dry bread crust maltiness, pine, and florals. Not much else. Pretty earthy in the finish. Clean flavor with a dry finish. Pretty decent IPA.

Sturdy 500 ml bottle picked up at Brewforia Meridian last week... Paid a pricey $5ish for the opportunity... Poured tonight into my Funk Fest goblet... 2 finger white head last quite a while.. decent lacing... the brew is hazy golden. Nose is big floral hoppiness with a pungent pithy citrus zest element too.... definitely some toasty maltiness to help balance, but not too malty really. Good bitterness that moves from front to back and is balanced nicely by the above mentioned toastiness and a resinous citrus hoppiness. light/medium carbonation.. but the body is pretty light given the residual maltiness... honestly pretty darn drinkable... Good beer... Too expensive though... Way too expensive.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is caramel and pine. Aged. Flavor is the same, light sweet, medium bitter. This is old, but no date on it, so fuck them.
