This big, glowing, powerful IPA is packed with assertive Northwest hops that are floral, citrusy and resinous. A healthy dose of Munich malt helps to provide backbone and balance against the hoppy attack. The result? Explosive! Brewed with Gambrinus Organic Pilsner and Munich Malt, Centennial and Cascade hops. 7.0% ABV, 75 BU

Bottle to tulip glass. I think this must have been waaaay past it’s prime, if I ever get a chance to score a fresh one I will re-rate. Pours golden cloudy orangey with a lot foamy white head. Munich malts on the nose, no hop presence whatsoever, this smelled like a run of the mill APA. Taste was more of the same, this has to be long past it’s time of goodness. Bitterness is quite low, the malt presence is pretty much all I’m tasting. Based on all the other characteristics of this beer you can tell its well made, the mouthfeel and carbonation are both very pleasing and again probably quite nice when fresh. This came across the country in a car and was one of the last beers I got after. Better luck next time methinks!

50 cl bottle. Bottled on 26.11.2014.
Pours clear orange color with a large white head, leaves some nice lacing. Sweet caramel and malts on the nose, resinous hops with orange and mild piney notes. Bitter malts and resin on the flavor, some hops, orange, bready notes and hay. Sadly not that fresh anymore, feels more like an Amber Ale, decent anyway.

Bottle (50cl): Served in a Duvel glass at 13 degrees Celsius: Creamy head. Hazy orange beer. Aromas of floral tonea, creamy fruit, some hops, hints of wheat and yeast. Soft and smooth aroma, different but very nice. Flavour is a creamy mix of herbal tones, fruits, hops, yeast, wheat, vanilla, floral.. Aftertaste is specially bitter with some herbal fruity hop tones. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, more than just medium bodied. Great mouthfeel, good taste, interesting beer!

500 mL bottle split with a friend. Bottled 01/22/15. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Fucking hell. A total mess. Pretty oxidized to start. Also smells like baby puke. Cardboard and baby puke beer. Washing it down with a High Life or 5. Drain pour. Bummer.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours light hazy golden with a white head. It has a medium lush body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with dry malt, grapefruit zest, pine and is a bit rough. The finish dries out more and is a bit abrasive. Nice IPA.

I fairly nice, quite floral IPA. The color seemed a little off, a slightly cloudy straw gold. Poured with a thick, resilient head. Significant carbonation. I prefer more citrus, but this was very drinkable.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2015 Bottle 500ml. $4): hazy golden with nice white head. This one tends to lean a little bit to the malt side with a medium bitterness in the end. Update (03/08/2015): Aroma had a little funkiness to it like a Belgian. (was 3.6 now 3.5)

Draft pour at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy golden color with a foamy head and a ton of lace. Big citrus hops aroma. Citrus flavor up front with lemon and a touch of grapefruit. Hoppy finish. Good stuff. Will look for more from these guys.

Floral and citric for sure. Good quantity and quality of hops make this enjoyable. Even a little rye-like spiciness. The malt is a little heavier than I prefer, but not to a fault.
