The “IRA”, as it’s known around here, marries a ruby red color and rich body with the hop flavors of an IPA. Our unique ale yeast strain adds a delicious layer of complexity. One of the first beers we made, and an enduring favorite. Brewed with Gambrinus Organic Pilsner malt, imported crystal malt, Simcoe and Brewers’ Gold hops. 6.5% ABV, 60 BU

Very similar to Ninkasi's Believer Double Red (although a little less malty) this beer features some nice toasty malt with a hop profile similar to an ipa. A great hybrid style that keeps things interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had it on tap on brewers special, it is decently hoppy. Hits you in the face right away and has a nice lingering and aftertaste. The color is ruby red and the smell is sexy

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Clear dark orange to amber color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is again -as this brewery has disappointed me several times now- quite faint. Taste lightly malts, hops, a light touch of resin, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

500 ml bottle. Unclear reddish brown, tan foam settles and mostly fades. Spicy fruity caramel aroma. Taste is spicy fruity piney hop forward, thinner toasty caramel malt, a bit lean but still resinous. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)
