Nice pour but then quickly dissipating head with little retention. Primarily biscuity nose and flavor with some banana flavors. Likely refreshing in the summer but nothing special beyond that.

Aroma is clove, straw, citrus and sulphur. Taste is light tart, citrus, honey and lemon. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well with some lace.

Pours wheat yellow, not much head. Aroma of yeasty champagne, taste is an underwhelming wheat earthy taste. Not memorable.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has rich pale malt, pepper and a nice doughiness. It has a medium / light body but has a bit of heft and soft carbonation. The flavor starts with pale malt and is richer than many kolsches. There are also some herbs and the finish is dry and woody. Good.

Hazy light yellow pour with large white head. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast and malts. Taste of grassy hops, malts, grains and slight citrus. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation, hoppy crisp finish. Nothing great here.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellow with a large, frothy white head, long retention with light lacing. Aroma is sweet Pils malt with light spicy hops. Flavor is crisp Pils malt, light spicy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

500ml brown bottle. Lemony yellow colour, hazy, big white head. Mild lacing. Nose has grains/bread, some sweet notes and a trace of lemon hop. Taste is bready and grainy with some grassy hops. Lingering grassy hops and some bitterness, slight minerally note in there too. Light bodied. Very Pils-like.

Too light and even for a kolsch it lacks alot of flavour. Mostly a bland brew with a bright straw pour, soapy head of pure white. The aroma is so light and bit grassy and a pinch of noble hop spice. Almost nothing going on here.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a nearly absent grain aroma. Extremely light flavor and body. Watery, and a bit of corn. Nice, cool, refreshing finish. Goes nicely on the hot days. I enjoy this.

Grassy hop aroma, which is out of style for a Kolsch. Pours a slightly hazy light straw with a thin white head. Crisp malt flavor, with a mild lingering bitterness. It doesn’t have the slight touch of fruit that I expect in a Kolsch. This comes across as more of a pilsener. Light bodied and easy drinking, but not a kolsch.

Sampled at the brewpub. Hazy gold. Minimal white foam. Lazy bubbles float up. Lemons and malts. Nice hops are dryly bitter abd fruity. Some Noble notes. Perfect on a hot day.
