Draft at Belmont Station:Pours a very cloudy yellow with a big white foamy head. Aroma is very saison like with hints of citrus, pepper and mint. Flavor is amazing, a very unique maltyness mixed with subtle hop flavor and touch of citrus, very creamy and smooth. Tiny bits of clove flavor. Extremely complex, tasy, mouthwatering and refreshing.

Thanks to the customer who returned a fresh full keg! Light, murky pale straw yellow with glistening hints of silver. Smells like a cross between a wit and a pilsner with a tinge of lemon and other spices. Big white head that hangs out for a spell. Flavor is crisp and sharp with a distinct astringency and tartness that is quite its own. A little on the hoppy side for a kolsch, but hey, this is the Pacific Northwest. Great summer brew from a great brewery!

Draft at TapRiver in City of The Dalles. I must say, this is one of the better Koelsches I’ve had in a while! Very clean, a bit effervescent, the right amount of citrus and wheat. Ordinary-looking but I wish I had a tap of this on my refrigerator at home.

Tap... Poured a hazy, vibrant yellow with a white head, nice lacing throughout the beverage. Crisp aroma of cracker grains and floral herbs. Had the body of a lager and other lager characteristics, but the depth and hop bitterness of an ale. Think of a hoppier, more aggressive golden ale.

Grabbed a growler of this while I was out in Hood River. It’s a lazy golden brew with a a harvest-like appearance and sudsy white foam. The aromatics are high-end cereals with a lemony twist. Smooth with a great toasty sweetness and a burst of tangy lemon zest a very mellow bitterness and a long, creamy finish. That is a seriously good beer. Awesomely quaffable, well suited to summer. Interesting but light.

Pours cloudy yellow with a soft white head. This was a really poor kolsch and I think might have been mislabeled. Resembled nothing of a kolsch, more like a belgian wit or blonde. Citrus, lemon and spice in the nose, fruity and crisp. Finish was hoppy and accented the yeast esters well, all providing nice balance. Great beer, but a ways off from being a Kolsch in my opinion.

Light hazy golden yelloe with a thin skin of a head. Light bready malt flavor and a surprisingly crisp bright bite. Sont finish.
