Dark brown in color clear with a thin head. Nice dark roast malt aroma and flavors. Like the light chocolate and toffee like characters. Smooth easy drinking beer this was very tasty.

On tap at Parkway at Tacoma: as a special treat, got to meet Charlie, one of the founders of Double Mountain. He was a charming gent. This one knocked my socks off. A solid brew from what Charlie described as an early, perhaps first, effort from a young brewer. Up there with Young’s Double Chocolate. A chocolate/coffee flavored ale with robust nutty tones. A fine example of what makes Double Mountain a great brewer.
