COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
THE VAPORIZER is a golden-hued Pale Ale that features a beautifully hoppy aroma and flavor. The malt is 100% Gambrinus Pilsner, our sweet and supple house malt from Gambrinus Malting in British Columbia. The hops are primarily of the Challenger variety, grown on a single farm in the Yakima Valley. We dry-hop THE VAPORIZER to pump up the hoppy goodness. Itís an appetizingly dry, clean and pure-tasting take on a hoppy Pale Ale. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner malt and Challenger hops. 6% ABV, 50 BU

Smells skunky, crusty arm pits. Itís really bright yellow. Tastes like watery mello yellow beer. Typical Oregon crap.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of lemon wax and a little floral hops. Flavors of sharp floral hops and crisp yeasty notes. More like a saison but with a clear bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bottle - Vegetative hops, a bit grassy and sweet. Pale gold with a bubbly head. Fairly bitter for a light beer, almost overwhelms so you canít get much else without searching. All I really get is a bitter pils like quality.

Draught. This is a really hoppy pale ale that was too far in the mouth blistering direction for my taste.

This was OK, but not particularly memorable. A bit thin with not enough body or hop profile to pull it through. You can do better.

Pours a very light golden, somewhat clear with a light haze and average white head. Aroma up front is Pilsner malt, a little rich with melanoidins and a cracker-like aroma. Thereís a subtle and very faint aroma of dried candied orange peel in the background, lightly spicy, and slightly floral. Flavor is immediately of pilsner malt, toasty and malty rich. The hops donít really come through in the flavor, it could be Challenger hops or it could very well be any noble hop. Finish is dry and clean. For being advertised as a dry-hopped beer this does not impress. I was expecting more hop aroma and flavor. Still though itís a decent drink.

500ml bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral and lightly bitter hops plus a nice pale maltiness and a little dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Could be hoppier.

Bottle:   Straw, very hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Dull hoppy aroma, a little sweaty.   Very pale hoppiness up front, minor citrus, very little zing.   Seems like a pale Pale Ale.   Body and mouthfeel are a little chewy.   Lackluster finish, seems like a dull wheatiness.   Not really bitter at all.   Looks great, but pales compared to most.   Lacks any umph or zest.

Draught at the brewery in Hood River. Very juicy hop aroma. Light straw color. Mild hopping in the initial, and that intensifies in mid plate. Very long bitter tracks in final. Thin-medium body. All Challenger hops. Too much bittering for a plae ale. But all the same, quite tasty.

String citrus and lemon nose with hints of tangerine and orange. Sweet malt flavors with some crystal malt flavors. Semi sweet finish. ---Rated via intercellular device
