Nice cool down beer after driving from Portland to Hood River. Crisp and light. Pours a nice yellow color. Some hop and some grain intermingle to form this unchallenging but tasty brew.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Straw blonde, diffuse head. Not much nose. Some grain and inoffensive hops sprout up akin to a blonde ale. Watery, bitter body infused with a mild grassyness. Eh.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a decent white head and a floral aroma. There is a refreshing pale malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewery. Pale yellow pour with a thin white head. Huge citrus hop aroma, very resiny. Taste is smooth crisp malt with a big citrus hop bitterness. Well done refreshingly hoppy ipa.

Draft at uber. Pours a hazy pale gold with a dense and creamy white head and tons of lace. Delectable grapefruit and pineapple nose. Creamy medium body. Mild soapy toasty mid palate. Caramel and grapefruit showing, not real developed. Mild finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Lean-bodied and prickly, this Pale Ale’s subtle citrusy, spicy hops build a refreshing brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the hazy pale golden.
-This is extremely drinkable (6% abv?!?).
-Mouthfeel is a tad watery though...
-On paper, this looks like Benelux’s Sabotage, but the Sabotage delivers much more efficiently.
-Malts don’t offer much in the way of flavor or comfort (and I usually love pils malts).
On tap at Naked City.

Tap in Seattle. Pale yellow water. Faint scent. A hoppier version of a Brittish golden.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Faint straw colored with quickly dissapating white head; lacing persists. Fairly neutral aroma with slight northwest hop presence. Light and slightly watery mouthfeel, but fits a session beer nicely. Good balance between malt and hops. Bitterness does not show up much on the front palate, but as malt fades, bitterness arrives. Finish is clean and crisp.
