THE VAPORIZER is a golden-hued Pale Ale that features a beautifully hoppy aroma and flavor. The malt is 100% Gambrinus Pilsner, our sweet and supple house malt from Gambrinus Malting in British Columbia. The hops are primarily of the Challenger variety, grown on a single farm in the Yakima Valley. We dry-hop THE VAPORIZER to pump up the hoppy goodness. It’s an appetizingly dry, clean and pure-tasting take on a hoppy Pale Ale. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner malt and Challenger hops. 6% ABV, 55 BU

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with big fluffy white head that has great retention. The aroma is mild with a stale bread and old wet straw effect. The taste is washed out grains, biscuit, bread, and spicy hops. The palate was very uneven starting thin and ending pasty. The finish was long dry and left a good lingering biter aftertaste. Overall: meh

Pale slightly cloudy yellow, white head. Very hop-forward, as you might imagine. Seems very green, with a lot of chewy hops. Sticky finish.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with small quickly dissipating head. Floral/lemony aromas. Flavors of zesty citrus, grass. Tastes like a slightly hoppier pilsner. Good to average beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells skunky, crusty arm pits. It’s really bright yellow. Tastes like watery mello yellow beer. Typical Oregon crap.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of lemon wax and a little floral hops. Flavors of sharp floral hops and crisp yeasty notes. More like a saison but with a clear bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bottle - Vegetative hops, a bit grassy and sweet. Pale gold with a bubbly head. Fairly bitter for a light beer, almost overwhelms so you can’t get much else without searching. All I really get is a bitter pils like quality.

Draught. This is a really hoppy pale ale that was too far in the mouth blistering direction for my taste.

This was OK, but not particularly memorable. A bit thin with not enough body or hop profile to pull it through. You can do better.

Pours a very light golden, somewhat clear with a light haze and average white head. Aroma up front is Pilsner malt, a little rich with melanoidins and a cracker-like aroma. There’s a subtle and very faint aroma of dried candied orange peel in the background, lightly spicy, and slightly floral. Flavor is immediately of pilsner malt, toasty and malty rich. The hops don’t really come through in the flavor, it could be Challenger hops or it could very well be any noble hop. Finish is dry and clean. For being advertised as a dry-hopped beer this does not impress. I was expecting more hop aroma and flavor. Still though it’s a decent drink.
