THE VAPORIZER is a golden-hued Pale Ale that features a beautifully hoppy aroma and flavor. The malt is 100% Gambrinus Pilsner, our sweet and supple house malt from Gambrinus Malting in British Columbia. The hops are primarily of the Challenger variety, grown on a single farm in the Yakima Valley. We dry-hop THE VAPORIZER to pump up the hoppy goodness. Itís an appetizingly dry, clean and pure-tasting take on a hoppy Pale Ale. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner malt and Challenger hops. 6% ABV, 55 BU

From bottle. Light yellow in color. Has a grassy aroma. The flavor is of citrus and grass hop. A little prickly and dry in the finish.

Pint sized bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Chunks of hops floating around. Aroma is a sweet yeastiness, almost like a Belgian tripel. Taste: a slightly sweet and sour malt base but with a heck of a lot of flavoring hops. Some floral hop notes, a little bit of citrus, some herbs. Low bitterness. Finish is slightly sweet malt with an earthy bitterness. This is a very complex beer, I am not certain if it should be classed as an American Pale Ale as the malt profile kind of moves it away from there... but flavouring hops in this beer are absolutely amazing... and it pairs well with the sweet/sour malt base. The bits of hop do hurt it on the appearance, although they are small enough not to be noticed or felt on the tongue. The strange aroma - Iím not sure if it is from the hops, the malt, or perhaps the yeast used, but it doesnít match the taste of the hops. A very strange beer from those aspects... yet very enjoyable!

Rating #1835 -2015.07.20 - On tap @revolutionyeg. Golden amber pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly. Hops very fragrant with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and bitter hops on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Delicious.

Sampled at Wilco, pours lightly hazy orange gold with medium white head. Aroma and flavor is Belgian dark fruit, booze, and toasted grain. Really hot tasting for the percent but it may just be the aggressive ash grain aspect of it. Caramel malt and stick my resins. Needs balance

Very good, light-yellowish head, stable and lacey over lively carbonated, hazy yellow-golden beer with a faint green sheen. Rather milky, lactic nose, bit dusty, green leaves. Bitterish, wry, rather resiny onset, followed by more mild flavours, hint of malt sweetness. Finish and aftertaste are again bitter, hoppy & metallic. Quite carbonated, near spritz. Medium bodied but qutie slick-hopoily, yet refreshing. Nowhere bad, but it might have presented more inviting, invigorating aromas.
