An aggressively hopped, high gravity red IPA. Consists of a flavorful combination of five hops (Bravo, Citra, Cascade, Centennial, and Crystal) over an abundant base of two row munich and crystal malts.

Draft that the pub. HOT!!! This think is just an alcoholic bomb with now real redeeming qualities to speak of. There’s some malt aroma and a slight bitterness I suppose, but I could not get past the burn.

On tap at the restaurant. Pours a cloudy brick red. Unusual beer. It has the body of a black IPA without the roastiness. It straddles the line flavor-wise between a black IPA and regular IPA. Considerable sweetness, but not too much as to throw it completely out of balance. Bitterness is very well-rounded for a beer with that many IBU. Not harsh at all. Overall this is a good beer and a pleasant surprise.
