Bottle. Pours hazy butterscotch with a very small quickly dissipating white head, some lacing. Aroma is very light, spice, wheat, orange. Flavor is pretty non descript, light spice on finish, light sweet, bit of zesty bitterness. Light body. Meh

Had this'd from a sample pack. Pretty crappy. Musty vanilla and malty taste. Average white. Stay away

Pours cloudy golden with a decent off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a thin light malt flavor with a hint of orange peel and coriander. This is drinkable but unremarkable brew.

12 oz bottle from a Sampler Pack from Safeway Davis. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Vague citrus aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is blah citrus over some pale malt. Maybe there’s a touch of zest in the finish. Not liking it. Deep breath. There’s more flavor strength than the above indicates, but strengthening this flavor isn’t helpful.

12 oz bottle from Safeway Salinas and a sampler pack of 3 bottles each of 4 beers. Nose is coriander, a slight sweet fruitiness, and some background citrus and floral. Very lightly hazed yellow orange with a medium, lightly lacing, pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly bitter with spicy notes and a hint of sweetness. Not really enough wheat expression but a drinkable, enjoyable beer.

12oz bottle 2/22/13 (Dominick’s Grocery)-48° in Tumbler-Pours a murky yellowish orange with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat, spices, and citrus. Taste of the same with more spices. This light bodied brew is not bad.

Aroma is citrus, coriander, sweet malt, vanilla, floral. Appearance is yellow orange hazy with a medium light tan head. Taste is very malty sweet citrus forward. Quite a bit of hop and orange peel bitterness. Coriander very present as well. Slight floral and vanilla. Palate is medium and a bit dull. Bitter orange peel lingers unpleasantly. Overall it is a little flat and the flavors are not coming together well. Bitterness does not balance the malt sweetness, they are both there separately. Almost a cloying beer with too much bitter orange peel.

This pours a hazy orange color, probably a bit too dark for its supposed style, w/ a small white head of fine bubbles. This strikes me as something of a mild APA w/ some spices rather than a true wit. It’s a bit sticky sweet and w/ some citrusy hop character. This was brand new at the store I bought it and still kind of tastes a bit like it’s been on a shelf too long--dunno if that’s brewing or distribution problem but I did everything I could to make sure this was fresh and it still tastes like that so the rating goes in as-is. It is drinkable enough but nothing really pops out at me as being particularly good at all.
