herrbrown1974 (427) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
Can from LCBO. Straw coloured pour, white head. Aroma of grass, hay, a little biscuity malt. Watery mouthfeel. Very light with a lightly bitter dry finish. Meh. Flavourless but inoffensive. Refreshing. Not the best pilsner I’ve had.

473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a modest bright white head. Aroma: Spicy, herbaceous, slightly green/grassy/peppery, a touch floral and perfumed, strong wet biscuits/crackers, a touch of lemon, nice. Palate: Medium body, slick, moderate effervescence with some prickly bubbles. Flav.: Peppery/spicy hops, a little green/grassy, slightly less malt presence, a touch sweet and fruity, pretty nice; dy with decent bitterness and a pleasant, spicy/herbal finish.

Pretty good stuff.

473ml can from the LCBO. pours golden with a lasting white head that laces. puffy pils malt aroma, some generic nobel hops there too. the flavour is similar but there is a yeasty bite in there too. served in a trappist glass this might pass as a belgian blonde ale. overall its weird but enjoyable, ill buy this again.

500 ml can from the LCBO. pale golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma is light, some nice cereals, light grassy hops, but it lacks the punch of a great pils, but it’s close. The body is perfect, and the carbonation is soft, and spot on. The finish is lightly bitter, with some more nice cereal,s and grains. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is lightly grainy with some moderate hoppiness over the top. A touch of spicy/herbal character, but the hops are very restrained. Decent body and a fairly assertive but clean bitterness. The hops are pretty light - the beer is nice enough but could be so much better.

473 mL can. Very nondescript and unassuming, even for a pilsner. Having said that, there are no off flavours and it’s very drinkable. Nice gateway beer.

gilvanblight (775) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Clear golden pour. Another very much head. Almost scent less. Refreshing and easy to drink. Slight grassy sweetness at first followed but a little hop burst at the end. Nice and refreshing. Really nothing special, just a really solid drinkable pilsner. Sometimes you want that, and it’s sitting rather well after the cayenne stout I finished before this one.

Lubiere (9998) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 8, 2013
A goldrn pils with a thin white head. In aroma, a grassy malt with light German hops, decent. In mouth, a classic Europils with grassy malt and hops, saaz, and mineral notes.

On tap @ imbibe: a clear gold lager with a 1 finger cap. Aroma is faint – some cereals just a hint of hops (not the bouquet you would expect from Saaz or Hallertau ). Well carbonated. Thinish body, mild malty character, a bit of hop detectable in the finish. Non offensive, fully balanced no off tastes, but borders on bland. All grain lager but simply uninspired and mediocre.
