3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Corner Bar and Grill Ottawa. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. Aromas are very subtle, maybe some ripe berry and a little funk. Tastes are grain, adjunct (corn?) and a subtle bitterness, somewhat tinny. Light body, decent carbonation that bites the tongue. Nice unoffensive session beer and pretty typical for the style.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mid-week pour playing Trials on xBox with the wife after a couple solid IPAs. Pours apple juice yellow with a fingernail cap. It’s got that southern Ontario swamp water after taste that I’ve mentioned many times (think steamwhistle). As Dorothy Parker said about Pittsburgh: there’s no there there.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
473mL LIkbo can. Clear gold with a large white, fluffy head. Aroma: nice pils malts and a hint of grassy hops. Flavour: very nice pale and pils malt body with a bitter finish that seems vaguely hoppy. There’s a metallic edge to it that some may not like. A decent Sunday afternoon drinker on a hot day.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can 473 ml
Aroma: solid malt depth, fairly soft in approach. Light floral noble hop feel. Fell of meadow after rain. Very nice.
Look: poured with slight haze , golden in color. Medium plus white top with fragmental lace. Head could be denser.
Taste etc: medium bodied. Soft body with medium carbonation. Gentle with herbal leafy hop approach. Ontario has another excellent lager offering.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with average-sized white head. Aroma is crackery grain and grassy hops. Flavour is grainy with pleasant grassy, slightly floral hoppiness. Crisp finish. Average body. Nothing wild but decent.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from LCBO. Straw coloured pour, white head. Aroma of grass, hay, a little biscuity malt. Watery mouthfeel. Very light with a lightly bitter dry finish. Meh. Flavourless but inoffensive. Refreshing. Not the best pilsner I’ve had.

473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

Palate: Medium body, slick, moderate effervescence with some prickly bubbles.
Flav.: Peppery/spicy hops, a little green/grassy, slightly less malt presence, a touch sweet and fruity, pretty nice; dy with decent bitterness and a pleasant, spicy/herbal finish.
Pretty good stuff.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
473ml can from the LCBO. pours golden with a lasting white head that laces. puffy pils malt aroma, some generic nobel hops there too. the flavour is similar but there is a yeasty bite in there too. served in a trappist glass this might pass as a belgian blonde ale. overall its weird but enjoyable, ill buy this again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml can from the LCBO.
pale golden pour, with a small white head.
Aroma is light, some nice cereals, light grassy hops, but it lacks the punch of a great pils, but it’s close. The body is perfect, and the carbonation is soft, and spot on. The finish is lightly bitter, with some more nice cereal,s and grains. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.
