Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light dark malt, moderate hoppy, dark citrus, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121110]

ersma: trotz des englisch anmutenden namens handelt es sich um eine spanische brauerei. auch dort ist die bierrevolution angekommen.
dunkelbraune farbe, mäßige verschäumung.
der geruch ist süßlich, röstmalzig mit karamell und nüssen.
der antrunk ist überraschend hopfig-herb. dazu röstmalz und herbe kräuter. die mitte ist betont herb-bitter, viele kräuternoten, dahinter röstmalz und nüsse. der abgang bleibt hopfenbetont, hier wirds etwas malziger, karamelliger. leichte süße, die aber im hintergrund bleibt.
die flasche ist ansehnlich.
fazit: ganz anders als andere brown ales, aber eine gelungene neuinterpretation. probierenswert.

De botella en BCN, correcta sin mas, filtrada?, hay un aroma que no es agradable, artificial.
Lupulo en cuota interesante pero fuera de estilo, no la pude entender, no se que se busca aqui.

In bottle. This beer does not taste like any brown ale I’ve had before. If anything, it tastes like Campari.
Smells like macerated herbs and vodka. Tastes like herbs and grass. Quite bitter but not in the usual hoppy way.

Pours clear deep golden/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, light chocolate and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark amber body and a small, off-white head. It’s lighlty peachy and grapefruity on the nose, with a touch of chocolate and roasted malts. Some toffee. The flavor is roasted and chocolatey, with a certain fruityness and a nice bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, and with bitterness and some metallic notes in the end. A quite pleasant brown ale. 121110
