Commercial Description:
Douglas Celtic Brown is a real Scottish ale, rude as its country of origin, mysterious as the legends and as generous as the inhabitants.

A red-brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and dust as well as hints of roasted malt and cowberries. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of alcohol leading to a dry end. The mouthfeel is sticky.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, nutty brown with a dense, off-white head. Sweetish, nutty and caramelish nose. Full-bodied with lots of sweetish, burned caramel and roasted malts. Perhaps there’s a wee whiff of smoke. Some bitterness. Quite all right. 280607

33 cL bottle. Pours golden amber with an orange hue and a lacing off-white head. Light fruity and mild roasted malt aroma. Flavour is sweet breadish and mild roasted. Ends light yeasty and roasted malt giving a light acidic note.
