BC from The Wine Cellar, Lutterworth. Orange amber misty with bits. I did my best. Subsiding dimpled suds, not much aroma leaking out initially. Caramelised barley sugar notes, peardrop, farmyard yeastiness as the head levels. Dusts with milky mild-like coffee. Conditioning high and persistent but not excessive. Pleasant generic ash, yeast, chocolate, apple peel and leafy herbal thyme and Darjeeling-like notes. Malt, hops, yeast. Simple nuts and bolts rustic brew. Enjoyed it.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A copper coloured beer with a light citric hop aroma. The taste is clean, crisp and nicely bitter. A pleasant easy drinking beer if nothing spectacular.
